Next Chapter

It has been a little bit since my last post and I apologize. I started a new job this week and have been adjusting my schedule. I am so happy to see my blog has reached across the ocean to two countries in Africa, three in Europe, India, and the Philippines. This makes me more eager to put up a new post. I started working this week at Kohl’s Department Stores in their corporate offices. I absolutely love my new job and it has been an awesome first week so far (I'm only 3 days in so check back in 3 months). Kohl's has a lot of departments and obviously based around fashion. I have never worked for a corporation before and love to see the variety in outfits around me. The fashion just inspires me more everyday to follow what I love, and what makes me happy even if its not my career right now. I feel very at home just after 3 days and love it more and more each time I walk in.

The next chapter in life can be very challenging. Change is always a hard pill to swallow. I was and am still excited to start this job and really dig into my role. This change comes at a perfect time in my personal life as well as I start a new chapter there. I got asked out to dinner by a guy tonight and am considering taking him up on the offer. You don't know what you are missing until its gone. Why not give it a chance. I love where I am with my life and know it’s only going to get better (see image below in Florence, Italy in 2015. A little hint on whats to come this year #Europe2016 Stay tuned).

Kohl's has really peeked my interest in not only the company but the job opportunities outside of my department. I get to see firsthand, at a snap-shot glance, what jobs I have always desired to do for a living and if I still desire them after knowing more about the role. I am fascinated with learning more about myself and what I want for my future. Life has never been this exciting. In a year from now, I could be excelling at my job, madly in love, moving to a house, and enjoying every part of it. I enjoy my life now and I think a lot of that can be attributed to my outlook. I was asked (by the guy who asked me out on a date) if I enjoy being single and/or if I enjoy being in a relationship. My answer was yes to both. I love where I am right now but I loved being my last relationship as well and know the next will be amazing if not better. Life has so many opportunities available and I am thrilled to see what fate has in store for me.

Stay tuned as I continue this journey deeper into the next chapter of my life and I hope that I inspire a positive outlook for all readers. Whether it be finding a relationship, finding happiness in an existing one, switching industries to your passion, or building on your confidence/style. Feel free to use my contact page on the blog to reach out; I love meeting and talking with new people. Xoxo.
