Throwback to last week

Let me just talk about this outfit for a second....

I stole (I prefer borrowed but my mom insists using the word stole) this dress from my mom's closet. She gives Plato's closet a run for its money (my mom should run a petite's resale shop with all the clothes she buys but then what would I have to "borrow"?). Besides how I got the dress, I am in love with my look last week. I got an A-line lob cut for my hair and curled it with a wand in the morning. The volume had me feeling like Beyoncé’s blowing fan was following me around. The dress, which I couldn't tell you where it is from, has my favorite cut. The top, which is hard to see with my hair in the way, has a boat neck cut to hint at the collar bone but not expose it. It offers an alternative to the traditional jewel or scoop neckline that we wear a scarf to cover up in the winter (pale skin problems). I wore thick booty wedges so I had comfort and paired it with black tights. This is such a comfortable look and I wish I repeating on the regular was more acceptable (I told you I was obsessed). I'm super petite so this is a perfect look for someone with similar body types! Keep checking back as I continue to periodically post some of my favorite looks on throwback Thursdays! P.S.
